Bio.
I have been a musician since I was 7 years old, originally learning brass through the Woburn Sands Brass Band, then transferring to drum kit (although I still play both trumpet and drums). Drums continue to be my main instrument, with some of my past projects including session work; and playing as a full time member of folk, rock, and indie bands, which have played numerous gigs and have recorded songs.
I have studied the work of many great session drummers, and I believe that I have the tools I need, from both a recording and live standpoint, to find work as a session drummer.
My interest in composing music coincided with my growing love for film and led to me considering composition for screen as career ambition. Despite this, I relish the opportunity to be creative in music wherever possible.
A wide range of stylistic influences make me a musically literate drummer, who can fluently read sheet music and improvise, meaning that I can mould into a wide range of musical situations.
